Description |
This is an extremely large outstanding Rhodochrosite from Wudong. The specimen was displayed at the booth of Collector's Edge at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show in 2011 and was one of the highlight cases of the show. The color and crystal size is magnificent. This specimen has been dubbed "The Empress of China" and has a similar counterpart known as the "Emperor of China" which was also on display at the show. (The photo quality is not that great as this photo was taken from outside a glass box and there is a bit of a reflection.)
