Description |
This huge, sharp, glassy, yellow-brown, partly gemmy Xenotime-(Y) is from the great finds in the 1990's in Novo Horizonte, Brazil. The main crystal has a slightly divergent partner in subparallel growth and both display light-catching, streaks of scintillating internal reflections in tandem. The crystal has razor sharp edges and looks great from any perspective. Truly an exquisite Xenotime - difficult to photograph because of the high luster. A fantastic example of this yttrium phosphate with only a couple trivial areas of edge wear despite the exposure of the crystal. This is one of the largest of this now famous find. |
