Description |
Classic specimen of Martite, which is Hematite pseudomorphs after octahedral
magnetite crystals. Individual crystals are up to 18 mm. Specimen has old pen-and-ink label indicating
that Sherk acquired the specimen from Toothaker, a well known
Philadelphia mineral collector. No damage. Ex. A. Lincoln Sherk II, MD.
