Description
This is a very large typical Gypsum var.
Selenite
crystal. I had bought this in a pet shop under the aquarium decorations. I was quite surprised to find such a large Selenite crystal there in such good shape. What is even more surprising is why this was in the aquarium section because Selenite is composed primarily of calcium which will make the water too hard for the fish.
